Danny's body weight has dropped from 396 pounds to 291 pounds in the last 7 months. Most of that weight loss has occurred since he has been working with an Aerofit Personal Trainer. He has a plan designed especially for him that includes a wide variety of cardio vascular exercises and muscular strength/endurance exercises.

I enrolled in AEROFIT in January 2000 to get in shape for our daughter's wedding in May. My personal trainer worked with me once a week and I worked out on my own twice a week. She was encouraging and challenging in my workout. Needless to say, I looked good for the wedding.

I have continued to work with her on a regular basis. The weight training keeps my muscles toned and my bones strong. Aerobics keep my heart strong. I have more energy, my clothes fit better and I just have a better outlook on life because I feel good about myself and my appearance. Exercise is my insurance for the future... a healthy heart, a strong body and a positive mental attitude.

Are Personal Trainers Worth The Expense?

That is the first question this 54 year old male found himself asking when he made a commitment to get into better shape and to lose weight. The answer to that question was clearly evident one year later when he had lost 20 pounds, lowered his overall body-fat content from 22% to 18% and gained strength and flexibility while doing it. YES!

What worked best for me? My personal trainer designed three separate workout programs so that I could workout daily or weekly. Rotating through each program developed strength and worked different parts of the body. This provided flexibility in scheduling my workout sessions around my business schedule.

Efficiency is another great reason to use a personal trainer. My trainer has the knowledge and expertise to help efficiently obtain personal goals. Getting the most from each workout and maximizing the benefits while minimizing the time actually spent in the gym was important to me. Hiring her allowed me to reach my goals in an efficient manner.

The question I find myself asking is how I could afford not to hire a personal trainer? The only bad result from following her advice and workout program is that I had to buy a new wardrobe. None of my clothes fit now!
