Class Descriptions
- Body Bar Workout:
We’ve brought the weight room to our group exercise classes. If you enjoy a total body toning experience, this powerful workout will push your strength and endurance while building muscles.1 hour or 1.25, depending on the instructor. - BOSU:
The BOSU (pronounced Bo-Sue) will help develop strong feet, ankles, knees and all the core muscles. It has a wide variety of uses and benefits, namely – balance, agility, and muscle strength. - Total Body Conditioning:
We'll use a variety of equipment to give you a complete muscle-strengthening workout from head to toe.1 hour - FUNctional Training:
Take your workout to a different level and experience exercises that will help you be more efficient in your day to day tasks. This class mixes cardiovascular endurance with core training, balance, agility, speed and strength. Any level participant should feel welcome. 1 hour - Hard Core Training:
You will be taken through a variety of drills using all of our equipment to strengthen your core muscles and challenge your endurance. 1.25 hours - Interval:
This class alternates cardio and toning to give you a taste of cross training. Studies show that this type of workout is the most effective way to lose weight! A variety of equipment will be used in these classes. 1 hour - Kick It:
This high intensity workout combines punches and kicks that will get your muscles toned and sculpted while you sweat (a lot!). 1 hour - Pilates:
This mat class focuses on your core strength and total body flexibility. Pilates teaches kinesthetic awareness which affects your day to day functions. Take this class and bring your current workout program to a higher level. 1 hour - Power Abs:
A 15 minute class that will get you one step closer to a ripped six-pack set of abs. - Running Skills:
A run-based class for all levels. Learn skills to develop speed, endurance, and hill running. - Silver Sneakers I-Muscular Strength & Range of Movement:
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. - Step:
You’ll get a warm-up, approximately 45 minutes of step cardio, then abs and a cool down. 1 hour total - Strengthen & Stretch:
This class fuses two important components of fitness together, forming an exhilarating workout, fit for any level of fitness! - Total Body Conditioning:
We have SO many fun toys to play with here at Aerofit and we'll bring them all out for this class! We'll work on muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, balance, strength, and flexibility. 1 hour - Yoga:
A quiet setting combined with techniques to increase flexibility, relaxation, balance, meditation, and breathing efficiency. Each class can be modified for all levels. Yoga classes are usually longer than one hour.
We encourage you to try a variety of our group exercise classes in order to get the most out of your workouts. Studies show that cross training is the most effective method of getting in shape.
